We move forward with ease and grace when we see opportunities in each experience and every connection. My teachers often say, “The universe is always on time”. Every interaction, every meeting, every trip is divinely timed for all parties best interests. Which is awareness- to grow and expand ones consciousness and see that we are one-all in this together. Why else are we here? To be free and happy! Together let us act appropriately for the wellbeing of our planet, and all those who live in it. Let us bring happiness and freedom to others so we can embody the qualities within ourselves.

4 simple “Keys” to being healthy. These “Keys” alkalize the bodies PH, which increase immunity, vitality, and longevity.
- Exercise 30-60min per day minimum-this can be walking or anything else.
- Sleep 8+ hours in the winter (the regeneration and the healing happens at night).
- Eat 60-70 % vegetables and fruits, 25-30% grains, 10-15% legumes, nuts, proteins. Yes… that many vegetables! Try them stewed, roasted, baked, flash fried, boiled, steamed, in soup and more.
- Enjoy life now, have fun and don’t be serious! (Stress in the body is acidic and toxic causing many disorders and a hypersensitive system while joy is healing).
- Do yoga: It feels great and is a wonderful self-treatment!
Recipe
of the Month:
Raw Apple Pie (Ani’s Raw Food Kitchen written by Ani Phyo)
Almond pie crust
2 cups dry almonds
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups pitted dates
Syrup
1/2 cup pitted dates
1 orange, peeled and seeded
Splash of water, as needed
Filling
5 cups apples, peeled, seeded, thinly sliced, about 5 or 6 apples
1 cup raisins
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
To make crust, pulse almonds and salt in food processor until nuts are in small pieces. You want your crust to have chunks of almonds in it, so don’t over process. Use some of the finer powder to “flour” the bottom of your pie dish.
Slowly add dates into processor in small batches to mix with almond bits. The dates will bind with almonds to form a dough. Press dough into the bottom of "floured" pie pan. Set aside.
To make syrup, place orange into your blender first. Then add dates and blend. If needed, add small amounts of water to help everything mix well. Set aside.
To make filling, place sliced apples in a large bowl with raisins. Toss with cinnamon and syrup. Spoon filling into pie crust.
Will keep for two days in fridge. The flavour of this delicious pie will be determined by the type of apples you use.
Benefits of Apples:
- Firstly they are in season and keep well all winter. That means many varieties are available in great flavors.
- Apples are cooling in thermal nature: reduces heat, moisten dryness and cools heat in the lungs-protects the lungs from cigarette smoking.
- Stimulates appetite, remedies indigestion-this is due in part to the presence of malic and tartaric acids in apples which inhibit the growth of ferments and disease-reducing bacteria in the digestive tract.
- Contains pectin, which removes cholesterol, toxic metals such as lead and mercury, and the residues of radiation.
- Benefits low blood sugar conditions and emotional depression. Apples are generally cleansing. Wow!
Warmly,
Natasha
